[gamex] will be an exploration-driven RPG. Importance will be given to creating an immersive world. Immersion won’t necessarily come from realistic visuals, information pills but from the creation of a compelling world that looks beautiful, feels alive and is interesting to explore. It should be dense (but maybe not expansive) with interesting characters, lore and mystery.
It’s my intention to combine the “best of the old” with the gameplay refinements of newer games. However, I intend to challenge common RPG conventions where it makes sense: in the interest of eliminating what I perceive as boring gameplay, for programming/design expediency, or simply to do something different.
